Certification and test results
Blue Diamond Flooring has been independently evaluated for fire behaviour and electrostatic performance in European and North American test programs.
Testing under EN ISO 9239-1 and EN ISO 11925-2 achieved a critical heat radiation flux of 10.7 kW/m², smoke production of 69 % × min and flame tip heights of 150 mm or less.
High resistance to flame spread with low smoke productionAll 10 samples recorded char lengths from 180 mm to 260 mm, below the 435 mm limit. Afterflame and dripping combustion were both 0 seconds.

Classified Bfl-s1 under EN 13501-1 following EN ISO 9239-1 and EN ISO 11925-2 testing. Passed NFPA 701-2023 Method 2 testing in April 2026 with all 10 samples below the maximum char-length criterion and no afterflame or dripping combustion. EN 61340-4-1 testing measured 5.6 × 10⁶ ohms point to ground and 7.5 × 10⁷ ohms point to point. ASTM D257 testing measured surface resistivity of 5.0 × 10⁷ ohms per square. Confirm chemical, heat and substrate compatibility in the current product data before use.
